SPECIAL INCENTIVE SCHEME FOR GIRL STUDENTS. (to encourage literacy)

To reduce the dropouts and to increase Enrollment of the Adi Dravidar and Tribal girl students and to help them to continue their studies in III to V and VI standard, they are given Rs.50/- per month and Rs.100/- per month as an incentive for 10 months in a year. This scheme is being implemented in all the districts. From 2013-2014 academic year it has been extended to the Girl students who are studying in VII & VIII Standard and they are given Rs.150/- per month as incentive for 10 months in a year.
