• 10 seats each in 16 hostels in Theni district (total 160 seats) along the Tamil Nadu – Kerala border have been earmarked for the children whose parents are having origin of Tamil Nadu working in Coffee / Tea estates in Kerala.
• In each hostel, 5 seats have been increased for accommodating Srilankan Tamil Refugee children.

(a) Facilities provided to the students staying in Hostels:-

i) Two tier Cots are provided to College hostels.

ii) Incinerator (Napkin Burners) have been provided to 582 Girls hostels.

iii) Water purifier, Colour Television and Electronic Weighing machine have been provided to all the  hostels.

iv) Washing Machines have been provided to 76 Adi  Dravidar Welfare Girls hostels.

v) For cooking nutritional hygienic food, Steam Boilers have been provided to 380 Adi  Dravidar Welfare Hostels and 160 Government Tribal Residential Schools.

vi) First Aid Box with Medicines is provided to all the hostels.

vii) Library facilities are made available in all the hostels.

viii) Gas connection has been provided to all the hostels.

ix) News papers are supplied to all the hostels

x) Mats, Bed Sheets and  Pillow with covers are supplied to the hostellers.

xi) Stainless steel plate and Tumbler have been provided to all the students.

xii)  “Yojana” monthly magazine and “India Year Book” have been supplied to all the college hostels.
